Cherry blossoms in Japan
Cherry blossom in JapanGood evening my dear readers. I am sitting in the kitchen listening to a piano music. It’s pouring rain outside. Was a lazy day.
Tonight I am going to tell you about my trip to Japan. In an early spring I decided to go to a country that I have never been to but always wanted to go to. It was Japan.
I had to choose the cities I wanted to visit. My friend suggested Tokyo of course but besides the capital city she recommended Kyoto and Nara. During my flight from Tokyo to Kyoto I was lucky to see a perfect view of the Fuji mountain. It was spectacular.
Because I booked my trip two weeks before my vacation all hotels were sold out and the only place that was available in Kyoto was a spa hotel located all the way on the side of the city right on the river which was surrounded by cherry blossoms. It was a blessing in the skies. My hotel was so charming and very traditional that I would only stay at that place and recommend it to anybody.
Every afternoon the Hotel was giving champagne in the bar that was located right on the river with the unbelievable view. Waitresses dressed in their traditional dresses were super polite and always smile.
I toured many places in Kyoto but my favorite was bamboo forest and the heal with wild monkey where I had to climb up for 15-20 minutes just to feed them.
Golden pavilion house was amazing. Wrapped with a gorgeous garden and ponds, singing birds were everywhere.
Fushimi Orange gates were a piece of art. There were so many people from all over the world to see thousands or more bright orange columns in the middle of the dark green forest. The contrast of the colors were amazing.
I went to see a Buddha statue as tall as a tenth floor building. With special scents going through the air around the whole area.
To see Samurai and Geisha was a wonderful experience.
I visited a private house for a traditional Japanese tea ceremony. I had to be dressed in a traditional Kimono. They walked me around the house and told me the tradition of any Japanese private home. The small or big garden must surround each house.
I had a chance to drink magical curable water in one temple that is located in Kyoto. People flew from all over the world just come here to stand in a very long line to have a sip of the water that has magical power in it to heal any diseases.
I was also told that American Japanese food was anything but Not Japanese. My favorite restaurant where I would definitely go back would be Robataya. That was the only place were I wanted to eat everything.
My guide who was my driver as well in Kyoto was a very funny and fun person. His presence was part of my exiting trip.
Well.... It’s getting a little bit late. I am going to say good night. Till next week.
