Post Quarantine dinner

Magical Garden    Good morning     Today is Sunday. Gorgeous day in Miami. As usual drinking Italian Lavazza coffee and in a mood to tell you all about my first outing after three months sitting at home.   I didn’t have much of a choice since not every place is open but thankfully one of my favorite restaurant's was open but of course with some rules applied and we have to adjust to it.   Well let me say that I loved the fact that the tables are pushed far apart from each other and finally gives each table a private space. I always felt that before Tables were way too near each other. You would have to whisper to your companion if you wanted to keep it private.   The restaurant garden atmosphere was magically charming and romantic. Fresh orchids and white lit candles were everywhere with slow beat music by a singer named Sade playing in the background. A perfect place for a romantic dinner with someone you really like to be with. ...

Cherry blossoms in Japan

Cherry blossom in Japan   Good evening my dear readers. I am sitting in the kitchen listening to a piano music. It’s pouring rain outside. Was a lazy day.    Tonight I am going to tell you about my trip to Japan. In an early spring I decided to go to a country that I have never been to but always wanted to go to. It was Japan.   I had to choose the cities I wanted to visit. My friend suggested Tokyo of course but besides the capital city she recommended Kyoto and Nara. During my flight from Tokyo to Kyoto I was lucky to see a perfect view of the Fuji  mountain. It was spectacular.   Because I booked my trip two weeks before my vacation all hotels were sold out and the only place that was available in Kyoto was a spa hotel located all the way on the side of the city right on the river which was surrounded by cherry blossoms. It was a blessing in the skies. My hotel was so charming and very traditional that I would only stay at that place ...

Magical Winter in Switzerland

Magical winter Dear readers how is your Sunday afternoon?  I am sitting in my library and looking at pictures from my Switzerland trip and I thought that I would share my experience with you. It was a magical trip not because I like to travel which I do but everything that I laid my eyes on was different than before. This was my first time I saw a winter horse race on a frozen lake where they also have winter polo in January every year. This was the first time in my life that I skied at night. First I was so scared but then I loved it. I would definitely do it again. They had a big ice-skating rink which was open during sunset and they played my favorite music. They also had two cafés around it. It was my favorite place to go for tea and watching the sun go down and people play hockey and ice skate.   Having lunch on top of the mountains with music played by a DJ made me wish to spend my whole winter like that.  ...

Credit to all moms

My heart goes to moms Good morning to all mom’s of this world. I am drinking a delicious Italian coffee on my terrace with a Miami view and thinking about us moms.  What an important job we all do for this planet.  This world would not have population if it wasn’t for us woman. We do not put ourselves on a pedestal because we are just used to thinking that this is what we’re supposed to do. We all know how hard it is to go through nine months of being pregnant and then raising a small delicate precious person who needs you every second. Mothers day became a very commercial holiday just like all the other holidays. It’s all about selling cards and flowers which is very nice but the depth of this job is ignored by people including us. But if we just stop and think it through we would be shocked to realize that this is the most important job in the world and it’s unpaid. In my opinion the government of each country should pay every Woman who is having a child a ce...

Love for moms Good afternoon my dear readers   Today is Tuesday, May 5, 2020. I am sitting under this early sunset and thinking about my life, peoples lives and the coronavirus. What a huge change the way we spend our days. It brings us so apart from each other and in the same time all together.    Spending two months being quarantined I see a lot of positivity and negativity. Some of the positives are that my children and I are bonding like never before and I am sure that some of you feel the same way.    We cook together we watch movies we laugh we exercise and we spread positivity around each other. Then it made me realize that this sadness that is happening globally around us gives a positive side to it.    During this time I started reading history books and learning about astrology. My wish is to learn French and Italian. And all of this came to me during these two months. I am going to wish my dear readers a good evening  Till n...
